Exposing The Shugden Cult

Kechara are a pseudo Buddhist community based in Malaysia.  The Chinese Communist Party/Government of China use this organisation as a proxy to vilify and defame the Dalai Lama and cause dissent amongst Tibetans. Former members of Kechara have reported systematic abuse and exploitation of members. This post came during the world tour of the Dalai Lama. Activity amongst China fronts such as Kechara and the New Kadampa Tradition spike during tours. This post makes the overt suggestion that the Dalai Lama and his family are corrupt, using the racist cliche of Italian mafia.

The Chinese authorities are using social media trolls to spread false stories and rumours about the Dalai Lama, Indian intelligence sources say.   While the Russian government’s attempts to bombard social media with “fake news” narratives are widely discussed, the extent to which the Chinese authorities use similar methods to undermine the Tibetan leader and the cause of Tibetan freedom is not widely documented or understood.
